Core values of nonviolence and social justice are central to promote participation in governance/democratization processes, access to justice, civic and voter education processes, fostering social/cultural change, human rights education through peace building and decision-making process in Somalia.

Water Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH)

CoDHNet implemented WASH programs and it is committed to the renovation and construction of sustainable water sources & systems as well as construction of the latrines to improve sanitation and good hygiene practices to avoid open defecations.

Protection & Human Rights

CoDHNet commits to address the protection needs and promoting the rights and dignity of forced migrants including the IDPs, victims and marginalized groups.

Addressing climate change through innovative programs CoDHNet focus on the following areas: –
1) Clean cooking solution; 2) Energy efficiency; 3) Energy conservation; 4) Environmental social impact assessments; 5) Climate smart Agriculture; and 6) Home solar system for school going children.

Education Empowerment

We are dedicated to improving access to quality education, particularly in crisis-affected areas. Our education initiatives focus on training teachers, providing learning materials, and ensuring that marginalized children, including those with disabilities, have equal access to education

Economic Development through Women and Youth Empowerment

Welcome to Community Development & Humanitarian Network (CoDHNet)

The Community Development and Humanitarian Network (CoDHNet) is a non-governmental organization established in 2011. We are committed to promoting sustainable development and humanitarian assistance across the Horn of Africa, focusing on addressing poverty, empowering vulnerable communities, and advocating for human rights and good governance. Through collaborative efforts with local communities, we aim to improve livelihoods, promote peaceful coexistence, and respond effectively to humanitarian crises. The key strategy of CoDHNet is to empower people to help themselves and advocate for the services they are entitled to.

The organization is guided by International Humanitarian Code of Conduct and adhers “do not harm principles”.
